ABOUT THIS TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

This includes various loosening, breathing techniques, meditation, Asanas, pranayama, relaxation techniques and usage of various props.

 

The main objective of this course is to produce yoga teachers that can aid pregnant women to understand and take care of their bodies using the elements of yoga practice. This is also to further prove that yoga can also be a form of therapy to improve physical and psychological health during pregnancy.

Pre & Postnatal Yoga Teacher training Course Objective

Pregnancy Yoga :

Before conception:

  • Prepares women physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for conception.
  • Helps women to overcome any barriers and fears they may have in preparation for having a child.
  • Creates a positive environment for a baby.

During Pregnancy :

  • Strengthens the abdominal muscles which support the uterus and baby for 9 months and also to help with the birthing process.
  • Strengthens the spine and muscles of the back which are put under a lot of stress during pregnancy
  • Strengthens the pelvic floor muscles and makes it flexible. This is necessary for holding the uterus in place.

Objectives :

Modification of Asanas and importance of practicing restorative / gentle yoga as well as challenging ones during and after pregnancy

  • Modifying yogic practices for each trimester and depending on the need of the individual.
  • Vedic and Yogic view on pregnancy and motherhood
  • Effectiveness of Garba Samskara.

Allows you to cultivate more awareness and confidence in planning and delivering the sequences.

  • Enable you to guide new mothers to have a smoother pregnancy and normal delivery for their safety and their baby’s.

Program Attendance Criteria and eligibility for

Course Certification

Becoming a Yoga instructor is a path of bravery, commitment, and physical and mental self-discipline. The goal of the Level 1 online yoga teacher training is to instil in pupils the spirit of a Yogi. This programme is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners, from beginners to advanced, and upon completion, participants will get Level 1 Yoga Teacher Training Certificate valid nationwide.

Pregnancy Yoga Classes

We also Provide Prenatal yoga classes to expectant and new moms regarding pregnancy aches, pains, pelvic floor balancing and other skills for labour.
